About the event
Let’s use the art of Modern Dance to cultivate freedom, connection, play, feminine energy, joy… Just to name a few ;)
Society demands that we live inside our heads, but the magic really happens when we drop into the body! The wisdom and flow that opens up when we connect to our bodies is just incredible..
During this Modern Dance introduction class you can expect:
- Guided free-flowing movement which brings you back into connection with your body and your needs in a beautiful way, so that energy can start flowing again.
- Followed by exercises that strengthen and open the body while working on different techniques.
- Learning and dancing a choreography. I love to share what the music and movement means to me and what memories or visions I want to express through my body. I always invite you to tap into the parts of you that want to be moved and expressed. And apart from all of that, simply dancing a choreography with a group of women is so cool, empowering and connecting.
These classes cultivate more:
- Bodyawareness
- Lifeforce energy
- Self-love
- Intuition
- Playfullness and joy
- Feminine energy
- Connection with women around you
- Physical strength, stamina and flexibility
- And so much more.
Language
As a Dutch teacher I love switching to English if that means I can welcome women from all backgrounds. I also completely understand that English isn’t easy for everyone and that it can hold you back from truly opening up during our gathering.
If you are only comfortable with Dutch, or only with English, please let me know via the comment section when you book this gathering. I’ll happily juggle both languages if needed. Always feel free to reach out!
This class is for everyone, for the true beginner as well as the seasoned dancer. Bring your comfy clothes, bare feet and a bottle of water. Let's dance!
